My experience of Lightening Singapore:
Singapore, an amazing place full of life and lights. This is a tourist destination in South East Asia. Indians are mostly attracted to this Destination for Leisure and honeymoon.
Singapore attracted me as well. Last year I went here along with my husband in December. It was a memorable experience for me as I reached here on the day of Anniversary followed by my Birthday.
I will share my tales of travel to Singapore which can help you in planning your travel as well.
I stayed in Singapore for around 4 days at Hotel Hangout on Mt Emily Road . 4-5 Days is sufficient to explore the place. Merlion Park, Sentosa Island, Singapore Zoo, China Town, Little India, Garden by the bay, Universal Studio, SEA Aquarium, Singapore Flyer, Cable Car, Trishaw Uncle Cycle Rickshaw ride are the major attraction.
We reached in midnight and took a Taxi from Airport itself. There is taxi lane at airport so it is very easy to reach any places even at late nights. Drivers are well versed with GPS system therefore, finding destinations  is very easy. After taking Taxi we reached our Hotel Hangout at Mt. Emily. Hotel was good with small rooms. After relaxing for few hours we started our Day 1 trip.
Day 1 Activities:
On Day one we went to world famous Merlion Park, having statue with face of a lion and body of a mermaid and water coming out of his mouth. Park was surrounded by water where we had a ship ride which was a relaxing moment for us. Then we took a taxi and went to SEA Aquarium in Universal Studios which was around 15 min by car from Merlion. Almost every species of Fishes were covered in SEA Aquarium. Again we took taxi and went to see Singapore Flyer. We didnât went inside the flyer due to some time constraints. But I suggest you guys to take ride of flyer which is different from other normal flyer. We had Icecream on Singapore Flyer Road then by 10-15 min of walk we reached Garden by Bays. Complete Singapore can be viewed from the top of Bay. This garden is very beautiful with multi color lights. It is connected by a building with Boat shape top. Day ended with Dinner at Little India. It was a pleasure to see so many Indian dishes like Dosa, Idly, Chola Bhatura etc. in Little India. Shopkeepers there were speaking Hindi, It was glad to interact with them in Hindi.
Day 2 Activities:
Day 2 started with Cable Car from Mount Faber which took us to Sentosa Island. It was around 10 min ride from Mount Faber to Sentosa Island via cable car. It was an exciting experience in Cable Car as we were able to see beaches from height. First place we saw in Sentosa was Madame Tussauds, which is a wax museum having film celebrities, sportsperson, politician, Singers etc. statues. It was followed by small show telling complete history of Singapore and 7 D show.
After this we move ahead in Sentosa Island to see manmade Siloso, Palawan Beach & Tanjong Beach. Beaches were having crystal clear slow water with white sand. Other activity which we did in Sentosa  were Heart beating Slow Sky ride followed by Luge Ride on Race tracks. Island was full of light and life in evening. We watched Light and sound Show with a name âWings of Timeâ. This ended our day in Sentosa and we were back from there via Cable Car. Dinner was done in Mt. Emily Road, thereafter rest in hotel.
Day 3 Activities:
Day 3 started on Trishaw Uncle Cycle Rickshaw ride to China town. We did shopping of Souvenir, had Chinese food. It was totally a Chinese feeling over there. Then we went to Singapore zoo which is different from Zoos in India as there is no cage for Animals. We took River Safari to saw the Zoo followed by Scary Night Safari in Evening.
Day 4 Activities:
Day 4 was my Birthday and full of Adventure and excitement with funny shows and thrilling rides of Universal Studios.
We saw almost all shows in Universal Studios. Best ride of all was âTransformerâ having the concept of Virtual Reality to attract audience. Studio was full of cartoon characters roaming all across the place to attract people especially childrenâs.  We went in December therefore place was fully decorated with Christmas Theme and Santa Workshop. We took picture in front of World famous Universal globe. There was a Casino in that area but we didnât went there. Place covers many restaurants so we had our Dinner and went back to Hotel after walk in Orchid street.
Time came to say Goodbye to Singapore:
Last day afternoon was our flight. We relaxed in hotel, took pictures at Mt. Emily street and went to Airport to take our flight to India.
It was an unforgettable trip. Singapore is totally a heaven of South East Asia which is having well organized architecture; roads are beautiful and well managed for traffic and pedestrian. People follow all the rules here which is helping Singapore to grow. Crime rate is almost nil here and whole place is covered with CCTV cameraâs. Entertainment places are not very far from each other which is an advantage for tourist to cover things in few days. Singapore accept all type of Debit and Credit cards for payment so need to worry about it. Cash can also be withdrawn easily from ATM. All type of food you can get easily . It would be very comfortable journey without a travel agency and guide. It would be a happy travel for two with total average budget of around INR 1300000 which include flight, hotel and other activities.
Singapore have a pleasant climate all the year around. Only thing to worry is itâs unfortunate rain which happens anytime, so carry an umbrella or you can purchase raincoat which is very thin to carry easily in your handbag. These raincoats are available in every shops of Singapore. During rain Outdoor rides stops in Universal Studios, you can enjoy only indoor rides and studio shows at that time.
So donât think and plan your travel today to experience something different.
